Pete Davidson lives with his mom Amy and according to Page Six, he decided that this was a good living situation after he and Ariana Grande broke up.
Page Six quoted Pete saying that he was in the basement and his mom had the rest of the house. He joked that he wanted to refer to it as "The Man Cave" and that John Mulaney and his wife said they would stop being pals with him if he used that term. Pete said, “Now I call it ‘The Basement’ like The Ohio State University. It means something—I don’t like that college—It’s the ‘the’ that’s important."
Pete also shared that he and Amy purchased the house as a team. He said, "We bought a house together, but nobody believes that. I live with my mom, kinda, so I have like a basement that’s like mine that’s like an apartment, so I live underneath her, so I’m getting like a little arcade set up down there trying to make it … mine.”
The house cost $1.3 million.

Pete Davidson's dad Pete passed away on 9/11 as he was a firefighter. According to Heavy.com, Amy was interviewed by The New York Times in 2015 and she said that she supported Pete's love of stand-up comedy. Pete has been open about his mental health, and according to Entertainment Weekly, he said in 2017 that he had gotten a Borderline Personality diagnosis. Pete also has Crohn's, and Amy told Variety, "Some days he was in so much pain, he couldn't get out of bed. I used to bribe him and say, 'If you get up and try to make the day you can go to the city later and do stand-up.' We had a deal! That's how he made it through high school. He is one of the strongest and bravest people I know."
In 2019, Pete and Amy appeared on SNL together. According to CNN, Pete said his mom was the "greatest roommate in the world" and then Amy came out on stage. Pete joked about wanting a father figure and he said that his mom could date Jon Hamm. Amy wore a pink sweatshirt with drawings of her face and Pete's face, which was a funny touch.
Pete told Entertainment Tonight that it was really special when his mom got a chance to watch The King Of Staten Island. He said, "It's a love letter to pretty much my whole family. My mom, sister and my dad. And she saw it at the screening and she really loved it and it really meant a lot to me. I think we made her proud."
